Michelle and Muneer currently both lecture taxation to CTA students (Post Graduate in Accounting (PGDA)). They both have a passion for the simplification of tax education. As such Michelle has developed the scope and implication with a basic example methodology in successfully teaching tax to students over the past 20 years, a teaching method that Muneer has adopted and implemented. Michelle and Muneer have utilise their combined experience of more than 30 years of teaching tax to highlight the Income Tax Legislation by applying this teaching method.

The e-book highlights sections of the Income Tax Legislation with different colours allocated to scope and implications, incorporating further commentary where necessary. Blue is used for headings, yellow for scope and green for implications. Red is used for exceptions to the rule. Michelle and Muneer paid careful attention drawing on from their experience to only highlight key words such that one can read only the highlighted text with a clear understanding of the scope and implication of every section. The sections that have been highlighted aligned with sections that are included in SAICA’s Knowledge List. The SAICA Tax Legislation: Student Handbook is prescribed to students by universities, as such this e-book assist students in highlighting the tax legislation by saving time, but more importantly enhances and instils their tax learning experience.
